I feel like I’ve been super busy these last two weeks even though that’s not the case. Last week I had my birthday and trust me, I used my birthday as an excuse for everything. “Do I have to get up yet? – Nope, it’s your birthday week.” “Can I eat this chocolate bar?” – Yes of course, it’s your birthday week.”
On Saturday I hosted a small birthday party for my friends and it was lots of fun. I’m so happy that so many of my friends came by even for a while. Even one of my friends whose boyfriend was moving back to Mexico on Sunday came by 😀 Gotta appreciate that! And I got sooo many cool gifts from my family, friends and boyfriend. They all know me so well!
Since I got a few books for my birthday, I’ve been reading a lot for on the past days. I already finished Yoga Girl book and now moved on to Sapiens. It is a super interesting book and I recommend it to everyone who’s interested in how the vast history shapes the present and the future.
It’s almost December and I’m getting more and more excited about Christmas shopping. Yesterday I spent the evening in the city with some friends just strolling around and looking for gifts. I got so excited that I literally wanted to buy everything. The only problem is that I’m spending Christmas abroad and can’t really fit that much stuff into my luggage and therefore I can’t buy anything too big or too heavy.
Yesterday I also met up with a friend at the gym. We did a good leg workout and finished it with a long yoga sesh. We both have quite a lot of free time at the moment so we try to make these workouts a weekly habit. It’s so much fun to not to hurry and just take our time at the gym. And it’s super good to have someone help you with more difficult yoga asanas or tell you if you’re doing something wrong.
